We have finally been informed that the three options will be up for public consultation in late Nov. This is something we have been concerned about and have consistently said that after waiting for 8 months since March’13, it should not be released just before Christmas when the community is busy with other issues.
Not surprisingly that is exactly what the State Government and VicRoads have done. On top of that, the three options will be released on the 25th Nov and the public consultation workshops will commence on the 26th November’13.
The community has JUST 1 DAY!!! to look at the options and think of all the various impacts that each option will have. No wonder we get more cynical as time goes by.

We know it is short notice and a busy time of year but that is exactly what is being relied upon to limit the community participation. Please make an effort to attend and have your views and voice heard.
